What About Wine In A Box?

101 22
When my better half wants wine coolers to take to a get together and there will be a group of people to share with, I choose the box.
A couple liters of soda and some fruit to add and we're good to go. Lemon line and ginger ale work great.

We always have fun mixing up this concoction and it is never the same twice. Different wine different fruit. Always a surprise. Strawberries, peaches, watermelon, plumes, oranges, pineapple. It's your recipe. Near as fun making it up as drinking it. Almost!

Wine Cooler, I guess Wine Spritzer maybe. Spritzer comes from a German word where it's a wine and water or wine and lemonade mix. Usually a fizzy lemonade. I would guess this is where the Hard Lemonade brands come from.

The brand of box I choose comes from a winery established in 1906 in California. They started the Box in 1978. They have become the worlds most popular wine and their group is the third largest wine company.

Wine in the box is a great value and I enjoy the convenience. Seldom when we dont finish it all but the box keep well in the frige too.

There are many wines to choose from in the box and several different brands. The Blush and White Zinfandel are two of my favorites.

The box is also good for the environment. The one company has gone Green. They keep their Co2 emissions lower through packaging methods and there is less landfill waste than glass bottles.

University students seen to be very impressed with the product. Imagine! There has to be a place for the box. Sales do prove it.

So instead of spending your hard earned money on a six pack of coolers spend the same on 5 leaders of wine, grab some lemon lime soda, strawberry's, blueberry's, peaches, you pick the fruit and make your own!

You can mix them up by the glass or make up a batch like punch. Letting the fruit mellow with the wine seems to give it more flavor.

This is a good idea. Recycle your wine corks
