How to Remove Wallpaper With Water

    • 1). Peel the top layer of wallpaper off of the wall. Start at one of the edges and work your way around.

    • 2). Fill a squirt bottle with warm water.

    • 3). Spray the second layer of wallpaper with the water in the squirt bottle until it is saturated.

    • 4). Let the wallpaper sit untouched for 15 minutes, wet it again and wait another 15 minutes.

    • 5). Gently remove the wallpaper by scraping it off with a putty knife. Do not press too hard or you will damage the wall.
