How to Remove Wallpaper With Water
- 1). Peel the top layer of wallpaper off of the wall. Start at one of the edges and work your way around.
- 2). Fill a squirt bottle with warm water.
- 3). Spray the second layer of wallpaper with the water in the squirt bottle until it is saturated.
- 4). Let the wallpaper sit untouched for 15 minutes, wet it again and wait another 15 minutes.
- 5). Gently remove the wallpaper by scraping it off with a putty knife. Do not press too hard or you will damage the wall.
