- 3). In order to play football, you have to maintain good grades. Study hard. When not studying for school, study other quarterbacks to see how they move, react and throw the ball.
- 4). Keep up your skills as you advance into high school. If you have succeeded as a quarterback in junior high, it's possible to try out for the quarterback position in high school.
- 5). Practice every day and keep your body in great shape. Test yourself with play calls. A good memory is needed to remember all the plays and team members.
- 6). Throw the ball with precision. The more balls you throw into the pocket, the more attention you will receive from possible scouts. Avoid being socked and know where the ball is going when you release it.
- 7). Accept a college scholarship and play your best. Keep your grades up. College players that are good can be picked to play by the NFL.
