Hey, this is Dany J. I'm in Southlake, Texas at Camp Hero Fitness. Today, we're going to talk about, "Can lunges and squats help you run faster?" So, lunges and squats are actually strength exercises. They help strengthen your quads, your hamstrings and all the ligaments surrounding your hips and your knees. When you're running for speed, obviously speed helps your run faster. But, you're very prone to injury every time you run. So, it's really important to work on proper strength training in order to develop your speed. So, squats and lunges are both very beneficial in helping you run speed by helping prevent injury and strengthen those muscles to help you go faster.
