How to Bust Your Driver 290 Yards! 3 Tips For Massive Drives and Lower Scores!

Hitting the driver a long way is one of the sexiest shots in golf.
In fact, if you were to ask 100 golfers what was the one thing they wish they could do better, 90 of them would probably say they wanted to learn how to bust a driver.
In this article I am going to share 3 tips that you can use in order to increase your distance with a driver by 20 yards or more before you next round.
1.
The first thing that you have to do in order to bust your driver long and straight is to make sure that you are setup to the ball correctly.
The three setup fundamentals that you must consider are stance, posture, and alignment.
You should stand with your feet a little wider than shoulder width apart with the driver, and you must maintain a proper spine angle throughout the swing.
In addition to this, you must make sure that your shoulders and hips are aligned to the target, not too open and not too closed.
2.
The second thing that you need to do is make sure that you start your swing with a proper takeaway.
The takeaway is very important, because it sets the tempo and swing plane for the entire golf swing.
Take it back too far inside, and you are really in a lot of trouble.
My suggestion is to take the club away slightly outside of your target line, because this will enable you to get a lot more width in the backswing.
This is crucial for pounding 290 yard drives.
3.
Finally you must have a proper downswing.
This should start by rotating your front to the left (if you are right handed).
What this does is literally force the club to come down on a inside swing path, which is exactly what you want to bust long drives.
