How to Remove iTunes DRM in Snow Leopard
- 1). Double-click the iTunes icon on your Mac computer.
- 2). Select the "Purchased" option from the "Store" subsection on the left side of the iTunes window.
- 3). Click the "File" option from the main iTunes toolbar menu and select the "Burn Playlist to Disc" option.
- 4). Insert the blank CD or DVD into the optical drive on your Mac computer.
- 5). Click the "Burn" button and wait for iTunes to burn the DRM-protected files onto the blank CD or DVD. iTunes will prompt you when the process completes.
- 6). Eject the CD or DVD from your Mac computer's optical drive and then reinsert the disc into the optical drive. A dialog box will automatically open in iTunes asking if you want to import the audio files.
- 7). Click "Yes" and then click the "Import CD" button.
- 8). Wait while iTunes imports the media back into iTunes. This process will automatically remove the DRM protection from the re-imported files.
- 9). Select the "Purchased" option from the "Store" subsection. Select "Edit" from the main iTunes toolbar and click the "Select All" option. Press the "Delete" button on your computer to delete the DRM-protected files.
