How to Refill Samsung Toner Cartridges
- 1). Hold the cartridge in an upright position and create a hole in it. You will need a hole-making tool designed specifically for toner cartridges (available at shops that sell printer accessories). The tool must be connected to a power outlet before use. Insert the tip of the tool into the marked area of the cartridge that leads to the toner chamber. This marked area is situated in different places in different Samsung cartridges. Make the hole while keeping the cartridge in an upright position. Some leftover toner may fall out.
- 2). Turn the toner bottle upside down and shake it gently from side to side. This will loosen up the toner inside the bottle.
- 3). Unseal the toner bottle and attach a funnel cap onto its mouth. Make sure it is properly secured.
- 4). Tilt the funnel cap towards the cartridge's hole and allow the toner to flow inside the cartridge. Keep going until the cartridge is full and the toner begins to fall out.
- 5). Remove the bottle from the cartridge and set it aside. Remove the excess toner from the cartridge by wiping it away with a towel.
- 6). Seal the hole using duct tape or electrical tape or a seal plug (available in office supply stores).
