You might never have heard of the deja vu diet, but it is probably the most popular diet throughout history.
You know, this is the diet, where you lose a little weight, then re-gain it, then lose it, then re-gain it and so on ad infinitum.
Even though most people that are on this type of diet plan don't really like the results, it still remains the most popular one.
Now you might think that it is the fault of the people that are on the diet.
It is their fault that they don't have the will power to stay on a diet properly.
While there is some truth to that, it is not the whole truth.
Let's look at a few reasons why this type of diet is so popular.
The first reason is because the diet industry loves this type of diet.
In fact every one of their diet plans is designed around the deja vu diet.
You see, if the diet industry really wanted you to lose weight and keep it off, then they would be out of business in short order.
Now this is a multi-billion dollar industry we are talking about.
Do you really think they are going to promote something that will put them out of business? By the same token, do you really believe that they have even one iota of concern for your weight or your health? What they are good at is marketing.
And this leads to the second reason these diets are so popular.
Because what the public is good at is believing in their marketing.
Maybe it isn't even believing in the marketing, maybe it is really about the hope of losing the excess weight easily and without effort.
You see these ads all the time.
Lose weight effortlessly, just take this pill and the fat melts off.
Or drink this liquid and you will torch the fat off in just minutes.
Or, how about this one: Burn fat while watching television all day.
The third reason these diets are so popular are because they are designed right from the start to fail.
Again, why would the multi-billion dollar diet industry give you a diet that works? Bottom line is they won't- ever.
The fourth reason is because your body will automatically reject every attempt at dieting.
Dieting goes against every molecule in your body.
It goes against every thought process in your body.
It goes against your whole essence.
Well, that is quite a positive picture I have painted here you might be thinking (I say with tongue firmly in cheek).
With all of this going on, how can you possibly expect to lose weight? It is actually pretty easy to lose weight and you absolutely should not go on a diet to lose weight.
In fact going on a diet to lose weight is quite possibly the worst thing you can do to yourself.
