Blogs Can Have Five Different Types of Posts

103 15
Just as blogs can have different purposes, they can also have different types of posts.
This article will show you the five different types.
Varying the types of posts can help keep your audience and you interested.
Posting often, while keeping your blog fresh and interesting, will keep people coming back for more.
1.
The "Inspection" Blog Post.
An effective way to monetize your blog is by reviewing products and inserting affiliate links within the body of the post.
The reviews need to be honest and balanced.
No matter how awesome you feel the product is you should always mention areas that could be improved or any fault(s) that the product may have.
Nothing is perfect and your viewers will trust you more if you're more forthcoming 2.
The "Tipster" Blog Post.
Quick tips are great "in between" posts since they are so short.
They are normally between 100 and 250 words.
If there's a great bit of information that you want to share with your niche but it doesn't really warrant a full blog post, you can post a quick tip.
The tip should be focused on one key area of the niche.
For example, "How to Grease a Muffin Pan" is a perfect quick tip article for a cooking blog.
3.
The "Five Ways To" Blog Post
Creating lists on "How To Do Things" is a great way to provide informative content.
You'll find that people love lists as they are easily scanned and provide quick solutions for any type of niche imaginable.
This type of post is one of the more popular ones and you'll see it used very often on blogs.
4.
The "Interview" Blog Post.
This type of post can take a lot of preparation and work but can pay great dividends.
It provides content with a different style of writing, which can be refreshing to your audience, and can provide more traffic to your blog.
The guest blogger is more then likely going to mention on their blog that they guest posted on yours.
This will usually pique the interest of their viewers causing them to drop by your blog to read the post.
5.
The "Mini-Course" Blog Post
These posts are similar to the "Quick Tips" type post but more comprehensive.
They will go into much more detail and will not incorporate lists as a rule.
They can also consist of multiple parts depending on the scope of the topic.
They are also popular as people are always seeking information and it may be the main reason they visit your blog.
"Google Trends" can be a good source of topics.
