How to Use Toys As Baby Shower Centerpieces
- 1). Purchase the toys you will be using as centerpieces. For a baby boy, toy trucks or wagons are cute and can be filled with baby lotions, soaps, booties and bibs. For a girl, a parasol turned upside down and filled with rattles and teething toys is festive and cute, or a stuffed animal or doll will dress up any table. A bowl of rubber duckies or bath toys works well for a gender neutral shower.
- 2). Arrange toys how you want them to be displayed on the tables. If you are using a wagon or bowl to fill with toys or baby necessities, unwrap the small items and place them in the container.
- 3). Place the toys in the center of each table, facing them in the direction of the front of the room, so they can be seen when guests arrive.
- 4). Tie a balloon to the centerpiece, sprinkle candy or sprinkle confetti around the centerpiece to add a festive touch.
- 5). Plan games to win the centerpieces if you know many shower attendees are new moms themselves, or plan to give the centerpieces to the expectant mom.
