How to Make a Duct Tape Camera Case

    • 1). Unroll a small piece of bubble wrap and set it on a table, with the bubbles facing the table. Set the camera on top of the bubble wrap and wrap it around all four sides of the camera. Trim the excess bubble wrap, leaving two inches around the bottom and remove the excess.

    • 2). Place the camera in the center of your bubble wrap piece and wrap it around the sides of the camera. The bubble wrap should fit tightly around the camera, to compensate for any stretching of the bubble wrap. You should have a small amount of bubble wrap over the top edge of the camera.

    • 3). Close the bubble wrap with the clear tape. Push the camera down into the bubble wrap package, until it's in the middle. Cut through each corner of the bubble wrap package, making a cut that reaches the camera, to make four flaps.

    • 4). Fold the shorter flaps over the base of the camera and then fold the longer flaps over the top of the shorter ones. Use an additional piece of tape to cover the flaps and keep them closed. Repeat on the top of the camera.

    • 5). Wrap packing tape over the top of the bubble wrap, leaving the viewfinder of the camera and the camera lens exposed. Cover the packing tape in duct tape, once again leaving the lens and viewfinder open and free from tape. If you like, cut a design in the tape with a utility knife.
