How To Capture The Attention Of Your Website Visitors in 4 Easy Steps

103 71
In this article I am going to teach you how to capture the attention of your website visitors, find out who they are, and share excellent information with them.
The reason I'm going to teach you this is because it's important to be able to go back to people who visited your website, and who might become potential customers.
1.
making sure you have website statistics installed for your website 2.
create something of high perceived value to give away to your website visitors 3.
have a way for your website visitors to sign up to your website 4.
keep in touch with your website visitors.
Ready? Here are the steps: Step One: When a website is created online, the hosting companies usually provide website statistics so you know how much traffic is coming in to your site.
One of the most well-known statistics packages is AWStats, so make sure your hosting company is providing stats for you so you can see how many people visit your site, when they visited, and what they typed into a search engine to find your website.
I also install free software called StatCounter.
com which is great to follow the actual path a visitor followed as they clicked through the pages on a website, as well as really easy to understand statistics provided in a visual way to make them easy to understand.
I highly recommend you install the StatCounter code on your website.
Step Two: You'll need to have a gift to give your website visitors - something of high perceived value.
It could be a PDF filled with great tips or instructions, a video showing them how to do something, an ebook you've created, even a series of videos to explain something to them.
It's extremely important to make this valuable information, something your potential client could really use to help them.
Make sure it answers a problem they might have, and is one of the reasons they visited your website.
Make sure you have links back to your website within the gift, and your contact details, in case they share it with anyone else.
Step Three: The ideo of offering a gift on your website is to get people to sign up to your mailing list, so that you can go back to them on a regular basis via email.
You do this so you can start to build a business relationship with them, so they'll get to know you and hopefully buy something from you in the future.
Therefore when visitors land on your site they need to see you have something great to offer them, and they need to be able to sign up to receive it.
Create an image or a graphic to show them what they'll get and make it appealing.
Add that image to your Sign Up box on every page of your website.
To make a sign-up box, create an account with one of the many mailing list management companies like Aweber.
com or Mailchimp.
com Create the sign-up box, add it to your site, and test it - and have friends test it too - to make sure it works the way you want it to.
Step Four: Having people sign up for your mailing list is a wonderful thing - they've exchanged their email name with you for a gift.
Do not abuse their email name, do not send spam, do not send too many emails.
Think about the emails you receive which you're pleased to open - try to make your emails just as inviting, as interesting and filled with great information.
Conclusion / Summary: By following these steps where I've shown you how to capture the attention of your website visitors, find out who they are, and share excellent information with them, you'll be able to build a lovely list of followers and subscribers.
Keep providing excellent information to them and build a wonderful business relationship, and over time your subscribers will have gained enough trust in you to buy your products and services.
I wish you all the very best of luck.
