Color 924 Cartridge

• 1). Place the cartridge on a flat surface over some paper towels to absorb any spilled ink.
  
  
• 2). Remove the label from the top of the cartridge.
  
  
• 3). Fill a syringe with 7 ml. of cyan ink. Fill a syringe with 7 ml. of yellow ink. Fill a syringe with 7 ml. of magenta ink.
  
  
• 4). Insert the needle of the magenta ink syringe into the fill hole that is located on top of the cartridge where the top of the label that had the color logo was positioned. Slowly inject the ink into the ink chamber.
  
  
• 5). Insert the needle of the yellow ink syringe into the refill hole located directly below the magenta fill hole on the left side of the top of the cartridge. Slowly inject the ink into the ink chamber.
  
  
• 6). Insert the needle of the cyan ink syringe into the refill hole located directly to the right of the yellow refill hole. Slowly inject the ink into the ink chamber.
  
  
• 7). Place the cartridge into the Dell 924 printer. Allow it to sit for eight hours so the ink can flow to the bottom of the cartridge and saturate the sponge. Run one to three cleaning cycles on the printer to get the ink flowing.
  
  

Black 924 Cartridge

• 1). Place the cartridge on a level surface on top of some paper towels to absorb ink spills.
  
  
• 2). Remove the label from the top of the black ink cartridge.
  
  
• 3). Fill a syringe with 15 ml. of black inkjet refill ink.
  
  
• 4). Insert the needle of the syringe into the hole that is closest to the copper strip of the cartrige. Slowly inject the ink into the ink chamber.
  
  
• 5). Place the cartridge in the Dell 924 printer. Allow it to rest for eight hours so the ink can saturate the internal sponge. Run one to three print head cleaning cycles to get the ink flowing through the nozzle.
