Hi, my name is Abbeth. I'm an artist living in Portland, Maine, and I am going to show you the pros of painting on plywood. So squeeze out a color on to your palette. Any color. Preferably something kind of vibrant. And now take a brush and brush it on to the plywood. And as you can see, the acrylic paint was just slightly watered down acts as kind of a stain on the plywood, whereas on the page, it's much more even and there's nothing to really to see through the paint since the paint is just uniformly white. But here we all this variation of the wood grain, which I think is very interesting as a background for an acrylic painting. My name is Abbeth, and I just showed you the pros of painting on plywood.
