103 5
When it comes to having a portable heater in your home, you should know that you have many different options and picking the right heater for home and outdoor use is going to require a bit of knowledge and research on your part.
This requires knowledge because you need to know what a portable heater can do for you and research because you have a lot of great options and you want to ensure that you choose the best option for your home.
If you are looking for a heater for indoor use, you might consider something like electric baseboard heaters.
These heaters are great because they are low profile and do not take up a lot of space.
They do need to be near an electrical outlet and should be kept away from high traffic areas.
Companies like Cadet, Farhenheat/Marley, Honeywell, TPI, QMark and Dayton are just a few companies that offer these types of indoor heaters.
You can expect to pay between $25 to $200 for a baseboard heater.
If you want something that will work for the outdoors, then you might want to consider portable propane heaters or kerosene space heaters.
Both types of heaters are usually rated for outdoor use and some are rated for indoor use as well (if you want a combination heater).
Those rated for indoor use are typically rated for very large spaces and it is important to know what yours is rated for before use.
Of course you have other options for both indoor and outdoor use.
Electric wall heaters and gas wall heaters both work well for inside of your home.
You do need to have the wall space available for these types of heaters and if you don't choose a vent free gas wall heater then you will also need to have it on an outside wall as you will need to be able to vent it to the outside.
Picking the right heater for home and outdoor use doesn't have to be a chore; however, there is nothing wrong with taking your time and ensuring that you have the very best one for your situation.
Compare the brands and the costs of each type of heater and then make your decision about the product that you want and need.
