What Is the Status of Article Marketing?

103 199
Article marketing takes a lot of work.
It is not easy to churn out one unique article a day let alone the suggested three to four unique offerings a day.
Even if you use the most popular thought jogging techniques you may find that writing original content is challenging.
The question has become "Is it worth it.
" I have been doing a little research on whether or not it is still worth it.
There are differing opinions.
Some say it is still worth it and some say that it is no longer worth it.
In fact, some say that the practice is dead.
If you do a search on the internet for "Does Article Marketing Still Work" you will find many authors that say that it does not give you the same results that it used to.
They proclaim that the new Google algorithms called Panda and Penguin make it impossible to get the results that they used to get.
In fact, they claim that the new rules have completely damaged article directories.
On the other hand, you will also find many authors who are totally unscathed by the new algorithms and are thriving just as well as they were prior to the release of these new algorithms.
The long and the short of it is that yes, for some article marketing might be dead.
People who used practices like key word stuffing and duplicate content prior to the introduction of the new rules are going to feel the brunt of these new algorithms.
Key word stuffing is the practice of using a key word phrase excessively in a website.
Duplicate content does not only include submitting exact duplicates of content to different sites but also includes article spinning when it can be detected.
So, for people who have been using these types of practices, the change in Google rules has definitely kept them from profiting the way that they used to.
Now let's look at the other hand.
On the other hand the long and the short of it is that article marketing is not dead.
In fact, for some, it is very much alive.
You might ask what makes the difference between these authors and the ones that declare that we have seen the end of it.
It is simple.
The ones who find that it is still very much alive follow simple rules.
One very important rule that they follow is to remember that content is king.
Sure they remember to use key words but they use them naturally within the writing without overusing them.
They don't use spinners they actually deliver fresh and unique content to directories daily.
This is what Google wants.
To sum it all up is to say that they do the work.
They actually spend the time it takes to deliver unique and compelling content that adds value to the web.
The new Google algorithms Panda and Penguin did not kill article marketing.
The opposite is actually true.
The new rules encourage the deliverance of good content that will add value to the readers of online material.
