How to Replace the Side Mirror in a 1995 Integra
- 1). Unscrew the door panel. There are several screws that need to be removed. There is one screw in the panel, one in the plastic door grip, and one behind the door handle. To reach the screw behind the door handle, use the tip of the screwdriver to pop off the plastic cover.
- 2). Pull the door panel off gently. It will be adhered to the door with plastic clips. Be careful not to break the clips as you pull the panel off.
- 3). Pull off the plastic piece that covers the mirror, using the end of a screwdriver. The plastic piece is triangular. Once it is pried off, pull it straight out.
- 4). Remove the nuts that are keeping the mirror attached to the door. Pull the electronic components out by pushing the notch on the black plug and pulling from the white socket. Push the white socket out through the hole towards the mirror. The mirror will then pull off.
- 5). Attach new mirror onto the car. Place the white socket through hole and connect it to the black plug. Screw in the mirror, replace the plastic mirror cover and screw the panel back into the door.
