How to Download Shazam For an iPod
- 1). Launch iTunes on your Windows or Apple computer. Make sure that you have the most up-to-date version of the software by checking for updates via the menu bar.
- 2). Navigate to the iTunes store from the left sidebar. Depending on your connection speed, it may take a minute to load. You must be connected to the Internet to browse the iTunes store.
- 3). Select "App Store" from the top navigation and select the "Music" category.
- 4). Browse through the applications. Shazam should be listed with the Top Free Apps on the right side of the window. Search using the search box if you are unable to locate it.
- 5). Select "Get App" from Shazam's application page. It is a free download. You will be asked to enter your iTunes account credentials before your download begins. A new playlist will appear under the "Store" heading in the iTunes left sidebar called "Downloading," and you can view the download's progress.
- 6). Upon completion, connect your iPod Touch or iPhone and sync it. Shazam will sync to your iPod and you are free to use the application.
