There are many avenues in which American youths today choose on the road to fame and fortune on how to become famous on Disney channel, but the destination is wrought with detours and dead ends. It usually comes down to preparation and opportunity, like most things in life.

There are many media out there to achieve this dream on how to become famous

Movies/Motion Pictures

Television

Theatre

News Gathering and Broadcasting

Radio

And the newest Medium: Internet Broadcasting

Usually the acting bug infects the actor or actress at an early age. How many times have you seen the famous actress in some home movie at the age of 2, playing a skit in front of their family and friends to the enjoyment of the whole family? So Precious! Most of the successful ones have a burning desire and cannot see themselves in any other profession. However, how many waiters/bartenders/door to door salespeople are out there those never made it? You can believe the odds are staggering. So let's get to the individual media outlets and see what the odds are for each:

Movies and Motion Pictures

How many movies are produced each year successfully, meaning what is the total number of efforts that are brought to the screen? If you take into account each week, roughly 4 new movies reach the screen, and then approximately 200 movies are successful enough to reach the American cinema. Approximately 50 actors per movie, then there are roughly 10,000 jobs per year in the top tier alone. Add to that 1,000's of movies produced that don't make the cut but still pay and you are looking at an industry that employs over 200,000 working actors just in America!

We can do the same analysis in the other media but let's quickly break it down:

Television: Over 100,000 employed in the industry in the United States on how to become famous on nickelodeon.

Radio: Slightly less per station but there are over twenty stations per market so again over 200,000 employed countrywide.

Theatre: If you take into account all the dinner theatres, easily 100,000. The news gatherers and broadcasters again employ over 100,000. Add them all up and you can see that over 800,000 people in this country are in the business making money and being successful in being famous or at least acting in their profession of choice. Everybody has the same opportunity to make it to the top, as long as they are prepared to work for it.
