There are so many blogs out there that claim that they make a small fortune blogging.
They seem to take the phrase 'fake till you make it' a bit too far.
It is a bit alright to fake a little especially if you are starting out and want people to think you are really big.
However, feeding people with lies of how you are able to make lots of money from your mediocre blog is just wrong.
Making money blogging is very difficult and if you have tried it as I obviously have, you know that it takes sweat, blood and tears.
Yes, it takes lots of time and effort to create a great blog that will appeal to lots of people.
It takes total dedication and ability to stay on course no matter what.
However, if you do a Google search of the people who blog about making money online, the numbers will puzzle you.
Don't you ever think that all those people are making more money than they can spend, they are simply nursing their own dreams.
So, why shouldn't you never think of writing about making dollars online if you are not? For one, you are simply lying.
You know it and most of your readers who have some bit of experience know that.
It doesn't take rocket science to know whether somebody is bluffing or they really know what they are talking about.
Soon or later they are going to find out that you really are no better than them.
You also will have nothing to write about.
This niche requires you to have lots of experience so you can tell people the challenges you have faced and how you have been able to overcome.
You will have to write about things you did to make your blog one of the greatest there is out there.
Now if your blog is not great you can't write about that, or can you? It might also affect your image if you are ever found out to have been faking.
Seriously, nobody likes pretenders.
We need genuine information from people who know what they are talking about.
If your readers ever find out that you have been pulling wool over their eyes, most likely they will never forgive you.
Come to think of it, you are more likely to make it if you write about things you are conversant with.
So leave some topics to the who know what they are talking about.
