30 Days with iPhone, Day 27: Good Questions
At the party I mentioned yesterday, people asked a lot of good questions about the iPhone. They were questions from people who were interested in the device, who had followed its hype a bit, but weren’t obsessed with it. In short: they’re the typical customer for any tech product. As such, I thought it might be valuable for me to repeat their questions here and to give my answers.
How many songs does it hold? My 8 GB model has about 1500 songs.
I might be able to get 2,000 on it, but I’m saving the rest of the space for email, photos, contacts, etc.
How does it feel when talking on it? It’s a little weird to hold this thin, straight slab up to your head. It certainly isn’t a brilliant ergonomic experience when the phone is on your ear, but the headphone/mic combination is pretty solid.
How’s the battery life? Decent; Better when WiFi and Bluetooth aren’t turned on. Now that I keep those off regularly, I usually need to recharge it every 2-4 days.
It costs how much? I know. Sorry.
Have you dropped it? Thankfully, not yet. But that’s why I have a case.
Does the screen scratch? Apparently not, but I’m not anxious to find out. (EDIT: Yup, it does. Bummer.)
