Prevent From Overheating!

102 10
I have a truck, so I know for a fact that I want to do everything in my power to not let this happen - this is why I decided to share it with you. The cooling system thats installed in your truck is your Rebuilt Auto Engines very first choice of defense if its trying to battle heat. Here are some tips that you can use to help your coolant system cool your Rebuilt Auto Engine down :

5. Keep An Eye On Your Temperature Gauge
Even though this may seem something thats pretty typical, it really does help. As you look at the gauge, make sure that you pay attention to what the gauge determines as normal operating temperature for your Rebuilt Auto Engine . The easiest possible way to do this is to just take a mental note of the reading during a bunch of different weather conditions.

4. Watch Out For Obvious Leaks
I think leaks will always be the sign to let the driver know that something is wrong. If you want to determine whether its your coolant or not, just look at the leaked fluid & check to see if its kind of like a bright green color with a sticky-sweet smell. Just know that there are a bunch of different colors for coolant fluid since different manufacturers have different standards when it comes to the fluids that they put in their cars.

Bottom line, if you see a leak, go get it checked as soon as you possibly can!

3. Use The Right Mix of Coolant And Water
Since the coolant system on your car doesnt just work on the coolant fluid alone, its important for you to know how much water you need to mix with the fluid! Even I need to know this ..

If you alter the manufacturers recommended coolant-to-water mixture by only adding water or by only adding coolant (which is something that I recommend you do not do), you could then be at a high risk of messing up your engine.

Trust me on this one.

2. Try Not To Overload Your Truck
This is probably as easy as keeping an eye on your temperature gauge, right? Have you ever been to a place like Home Depot or Lowes and see people just staking their truck beds with lumber and all those things? Dont do that.

Since the driver is putting more than enough weight that there's supposed to be on the car, the whole powertrain - including the Rebuilt Auto Engine - has to work extra hard to get the car down the street. All of the extra work that the car is providing only means that your engine is getting hotter & hotter. If your cooling cant keep up with the demand that youre forcing on the truck, then you should know something is going to go terribly wrong with your engine.

1. Give Your Truck A Regular Checkup
Just like we go to the doctor every so often, you should take your truck to the mechanic every so often. Your truck is what gets you around, its what you rely on when youre late for work, its what you drive when youre starving, its what leads you to a potentially life changing moment.

I didnt really mean to get all dramatic, but thats really how important your car is. Now do you think youll start to take a little better care of your car?
