How to Set Up a Live Nature Webcam

104 9
    • 1). Turn on your Windows 7 computer. If you don't have a built-in webcam, you will need an external one.

    • 2). Enable your webcam. If the webcam came built-in, the drivers will automatically be installed on your computer. If not, you need to install the driver using the disk that accompanied your webcam. If you lost the disk, visit the manufacturer's website to download and install the driver.

    • 3). Set up a feed. Now that your webcam works, you need to enable a feed. Turn on Windows Live Messenger and log in to your account. If you wish, you can use Skype or other third-party software. Make a video call and point your webcam at your bird feeder, your butterfly garden or fish pond. The person you called will now have a live nature feed from your webcam.
