How to Do a Cotton Candy Hairstyle
- 1). Separate a small handful-sized section of hair and put the rest in a ponytail. Grasp the loose hair and hold it up.
- 2). Lightly spray the underside of the loose hair with hairspray. Immediately start tugging on the hair with your comb, using quick downward brushes. Let the hair fall out of your hand as your comb tugs it.
- 3). Spray the hair with small spurts of hairspray as you work. Release another section of hair once you fluff the current section completely. Continue fluffing the hair in small sections until all the hair is fluffy.
- 4). Hold the fluffy hair up so it looks vaguely cone-shaped. Spray it heavily with strong hairspray and bunch the hair together. The hairspray should help it retain the cone-like shape.
