How to Make Sunday Football Invitations
- 1). Find out the schedule of games on your local television or cable network. Copy the dates and times of the games, as well as the teams playing to get your friends excited about the schedule.
- 2). Decide on the time you want to spend with your friends. Do you want to do pre-game, post game or even a friendly game of tag football before relaxing on the couch? Once you know the game schedule and televised times, you can decide on how much time to allow for socializing and relaxing before the big event.
- 3). Determine the food and drink items that you will serve your guests. A simple meal like chili or stew is easy to throw together. You should also ask guests to volunteer to bring sides and snacks like chips, sodas and nachos.
- 4). Provide easy RSVP information. Since these are your close friends and family, just have them give you a call to let you know how much food to prepare for the get-together.
- 1). Open Microsoft Word and open a "New" page. Since this is an informal, ongoing event, you will want to make the information as user-friendly as possible. A simple flier that an invitee can place on the refrigerator is the best way to go.

Flier with unformatted information
Type up the information. Don’t worry about fonts and sizes yet, just get all the information you want to include on the invite and proceed. Include game times, teams, food information and the hours of the event. - 3
Format the invitation. Now add a headline, center your information and change font sizes to highlight the important details to remember. Minimize the less important details. - 4
Add clip art or photos. Art always makes a flier or invitation more memorable. Be sure to use football clip art or photos of your friends in action. Go to "Insert," "Pictures" and then browse for personal photos or clip art related to football. - 5). Place your image where you want it by formatting it. Right click on the image and then select "Layout" and "Tight." This will allow you to move the image around and resize it as needed.
- 6). Mail or email the invitation to your friends and family.
