How to Sterilize a Knife
- 1). Fill a kettle with water and set it on the stove.
- 2). Set the stove heat on "high" and wait for the water to boil.
- 3). Place the knife into the pan and pour the boiling water over it. Set a timer for five minutes.
- 4). Remove the knife from the pan with a pair of tongs and set it on a paper towel. Pour the water out of the pan.
- 5). Dry the knife with a clean kitchen towel.
