Black God Volume 1
Keita meets a girl at a late-night ramen stand. After a bloody fight, Keita awakes and finds that he's switched arms with the girl. On sale: October 2007
Keita's a twenty-something who's got it pretty easy. He may be cash-strapped while he's developing a video game with his otaku pals, but he's never too short of spending money, thanks to his personal ATM, his friend Akane. Little does this master moocher know, but his life will soon be turned upside down.
While grabbing a late-night snack at a ramen stand, Keita meets a strange, barely-dressed girl who's got an appetite like an elephant.
Things just get stranger from there, as the girl gets assaulted by a mysterious hooded man and Keita gets swept up in a brutal street fight that sends his arm flying off in one bloody swoop.
When he awakens at home, he finds his arm seemingly intact and Kuro (the mysterious girl) raiding his fridge. The girl explains that her name is Kuro ("black" in Japanese) and she's a Mototsumitama, a supernatural warrior, or as she puts it, "a being who has surpassed humans." She also adds that she's switched arms with Keita. What does Kuro have to do with the mysterious death of Keita's mother, and are there darker forces gathering strength to hunt down and kill Keita, Akane and Kuro?
