So I had my baby.
And it was the most unforgettable and amazing thing I could have ever done or experienced.
I went to the hospital at 7 am on Fri June 1st to be induced.
They inserted a wafer inside me to soften my cervix so i could start to dialate.
It had to be in for 12 hours.
When they did that I just walked around to help start labor.
That didn't work so well.
Then at 8 pm on Fri then took the wafer out and check to see if I had thinned out and I was 50% thinned out.
So they inserted another wafer.
One hour after that I had my 1st contraction.
They continued though the night.
The next morning when I woke up they were stronger and more painful.
They strapped me to the monitors and they noticed that the babies heart rate would decrease every time I had a contraction.
At 9 am on Sat.
They gave me an iv of potosin to bring the contractions stronger and closer together so that hopefully I would start to dialate.
At about 12 pm my contractions were very painful and the worse pain I've ever felt in my life.
They gave me a pain killer in my iv to help me sleep because I was exhausted.
The later in the day it got the worse they got.
At around 8 pm my water broke and I hadn't realized it.
I got in the tub to help ease the pain.
It worked for about half an hour.
I got back in bed and they gave me another dose of a pain killer.
And I fell asleep.
I was awaken by my midwife and she told me that I had to have an emergency c-section.
When I had my c-section they told me that his umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck and leg.
And now I have a beautiful baby boy.
He was born at 11pm on sat.
June 2nd.
He was 8lbs 1oz.
20in.
Long with blue eyes and dark brown hair.
His name is Jamison Erwin Batchelder.
And he is the love of my life.
