God Loves Restoration
God Loves Restoration: By Lizzie Ducking- God is a Restorer.
In fact, the Bible calls Him a Restorer of life.
Because He is a restorer this should give us a hope in believing that not all is lost in spite of the damage we may have caused.
In 2nd Chronicles 7:14 it says, if my People who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
In order words, He would restore to fruitfulness.
He is able to restore the things that we have lost because nothing is too hard for Him.
Although nothing is impossible to Him, we still must ask Him to do it and give Him permission to do it.
This might seem strange saying give Him permission but He has given us dominion over His creation so for Him to move on our behalf He must first have our permission to do so.
If we give someone something, it is no longer ours but if he will give it back to us or allow us to use it then we have a right to it.
It is that way with God.
He will restore us if we will let Him.
Proverb 6:30-31 says, People do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy himself when he is starving yet when he is found, he must restore sevenfold: he may have to give up all the substance of his house.
For an unskilled Christian in the word of God, they could ask God to restore them and He will but a skilled Christian in the word of God know that the thief is Satan and we have authority over Him therefore we can speak the word of God to Him and He must obey the words spoken.
Satan know the word of God, He know that we have authority over Him, He know the Angels of the Lord is listening to the words that come out of our mouth and they will go forth to perform it and He know that God will back His word.
Therefore, He does not have a choice but to restore what He has taken and give back seven folds.
The greatest restoration that God have done is to restore man back to Him and He did it through Jesus.
I read that Eve was deceived by Satan when she ate of the forbidden fruit and when she did her nature was changed, she had the nature of righteousness but when she ate she took on a sin nature and there was a gulf between her and Adam.
In order for him to be with her, he ate of the forbidden fruit as well and he took on a sin nature separating himself from God.
From that point on everyone born, had a sin nature separated from God but He shone some light on this issue by initialing animal blood sacrifices until Jesus came.
When He came and died, He took upon Himself all our sins and when He rose from the dead, he was born again into righteousness.
Because of what He done we are now the righteousness of God through Him.
If we will accept Him as our Savior, we will have a righteous nature and we will be restored back to God because His Spirit abides in us.
We are the Temple of the Living God, Jesus lives in us so there could be no sin nature in us because He is righteous.
There is no communion with light and darkness.
God loves restoration and is ready to restore us in every area of our lives just follow His instruction and see the salvation of the Lord.
