How to Paint a Wrought Iron Fence
- 1). Strip the rust from the wrought iron, if necessary, by using a wire brush to scrub it off.
- 2). Scuff sand the whole fence (all surfaces) with a medium sanding sponge.
- 3). Wipe off entire surface area with the lint-free rags. Make sure all dust and rust have been removed before proceeding.
- 4). Coat all surface areas by using the paint brush and rust-resistant primer. Wait for this to dry before proceeding.
- 5). Paint your rust-resistant enamel onto the wrought iron fence with your brush. (Optional: spray paint the wrought iron fence with enamel rather than brushing it on.) Allow to dry.
