How To Cure Acne Fast
Wouldn't you love to know how to cure acne fast? The good news is that it is possible; the bad news is that I didn't learn about this sooner. As someone who has had acne, I know how hard it can be trying to get rid of it. You're self conscious, worried that everyone is focusing on your acne and not the person that you really are. Here are 7 tips that helped me after I learned the hard way; hopefully they'll help you to cure your acne fast.
1) Try to drink only water. Most drinks (juice, soda, etc.) are generally full of sugar and caffeine, both of which are linked to acne. Avoid them at all costs!
2) Try washing your face with lemon juice. Weird, but it works for some people. Just cut the lemon in half and rub the juice over your acne (watch out for your eyes, OUCH!). Wait 5 or 10 minutes, and then wash it off. Repeat every night.
3) Take 25-50 mg of Zinc a day. You can get zinc supplements in the pharmacy near the multi-vitamins. Zinc helps reduce red, inflamed zits.
4) Cut the junk food. Fast food may taste good, but the grease and oil are bad for your skin. Changing my diet was THE best thing I did for curing my acne fast and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.
5) Exercise! I know, I know, I hate it too. But really, exercise. Studies have shown that people who exercise three times a week are healthier then those who don't. But remember, you'll be sweating so make sure you wash your face with a clean towel afterwards or the oil will build-up in your skin.
6) Are you always subconsciously touching your face to check for pimples? I know I'm guilty as charged. You skin needs time to heal and constantly touching it can really do more damage. It takes a lot of effort to tell yourself to stop touching your face when you don't even realize that you're doing it, but you skin will thank you for it.
7) Get enough sleep and avoid stress. Not getting enough sleep (usually 8 hours a night, but everyone is different) and being stressed out all the time is known to cause acne, not to mention just being bad for your health in general.
