How to Remove Wax on Fruit
- 1). Mix three parts vinegar to one part water. Pour into the spray bottle. The other option, if you have 15 minutes available, is to pour the mixture into a bowl and soak the fruit.
- 2). Using the spray bottle, saturate the fruit with the solution. Allow to sit for a minute. Using the brush, gently rub the solution into the skin. Rinse thoroughly with water.
- 3). Using the soak method, place fruits into the vinegar solution in the bowl. Leave in the solution for about 10 minutes. Scrub with the stiff brush. Take care not to break the skin. Remove and rinse thoroughly.
- 4). After rinsing, prepare fruit as usual. Using the marker and label, place a self-adhesive label on the spray bottle for future use. Place the solution in a cool, dry area.
