While there are many treatment methods for candidiasis, one of the best ways to not only cure a yeast infection but also prevent recurrence is by making important changes to your diet.
Diet Changes A yeast infection diet usually attempts to detox the body.
The first step in detoxing and eliminating disease causing toxins is to properly hydrate.
Drinking six to ten eight ounce glasses of water a day will help the body flush out various toxins from the body.
Although fresh orange juices and certain herbal teas in addition to white or green tea can be consumed, it is always important to ensure that you drink adequate amounts of water daily.
Eating fresh food while avoiding foods with high fat content or processed foods should be implemented.
When cooking food, it is important not to overcook the food which will cause important nutrients to be lost from the foods.
Steaming and sauteing may be some of the best ways to cook food.
Consuming more raw food will also be beneficial.
If you can avoid cooking vegetables, this will be ideal.
Think about creating a salad instead.
