However, there are many foods that make up our daily diets that can help create the ideal environment for Candida to grow and thrive.

When planning an anti Candida diet, you will want to take into consideration that all sugars will feed yeast.
Simple carbohydrates found in processed foods and grains can raise the level of glucose in your blood.
You will also want to avoid foods that are high in starch such as potatoes; these will also raise the sugar in your body as well as continue to feed the Candida yeast.
It is important for an anti Candida diet to avoid any fungal foods, as this will make Candida much worse.
Try to stay away from any mushrooms or fermented drinks such as alcohol.

How you digest dairy products will determine if you should cut them out entirely.
Foods such as organic skim milk may be better because it is made with live bacteria, which can be beneficial to the body.
The most important thing is to be educated about the types of food that will make Candida worse.
