Hi, everyone. I'm a hairstylist, Amanda Shackleton from nybridalbeauty.com, and today I'm here to show you some cute ways to put your hair up. So what I think is really important when you're doing a up do is to have a little bit of height at the crown of your head. So you just pick up pieces, very kind of small sections and start teasing them. Just take the hair with this comb, push it down like that, you want to have a nice amount of lift there, don't worry if it's a little too big we can always come back in and take it down a little bit, but you have to have an extra little bit or it's not going to stay. So once you've done the crown, I like to just brush the hair back, give it a smooth over, take a little bit of hair spray and then we're going to come in and just I'll show you how to put it up real quick. So we just take this back section here, just like that the part that we just teased up and with one pin just secure that. Now what that will do is that will keep the teased part from not falling down so once you've done that leave a little bit of the front out, we're going to come back and add that later, but keep these sections out and just in one quick swoop, just take both sections, twist them over each other and then just start pinning your hair. It's really, really an easy cute hairstyle to do for a party if you don't have much time to go out. And what I like to do at the end is add a little accessory to make it really, really pretty and special. So I'll put one more pin in here, bring her around the front and now let's go ahead and decide what we want to do to the front of the hair. Sometimes you may want to keep a little bit of hair out, it's just up to you, I usually like to keep a little bit of softness, so I'm going to keep that one piece out. Pin this side of the hair up, take one more hair pin, pin this side up as well and then to finish it off, I'm going to turn her around, I'm just going to go ahead and add a really pretty little accessory. That helps to just hide some of the pins as well that you put in and give you a little bit more glamor with your up do. So there you go.
