    • 1). Check the contents of your carton against the parts list on the enclosed instruction sheet. If a part is absent, contact your dealer, or Child Craft at 1-877-265-9046.

    • 2). Put together the stationary side of the crib by laying the side rail on the floor or other large, flat surface. The stationary side has a decorative top piece. Position the right and left stationary end posts on either side of the rail, and the foot cap above the rail top.

Thread the correct Allen head bolts through the corresponding holes and through the K-D nuts at the top and bottom of each side post, fastening them to the rail. Use the appropriate-sized Allen wrench included with the materials to tighten the bolts. Consult the parts list that came with the bed to ensure you have the right size bolts. There should be five different sizes.

    • 5). Move the cap into place at the top of the rail and insert the correct Allen head bolts up through the top rail piece, tightening them with the appropriate Allen wrench.

    • 6). Put together the other long side of the crib in the same fashion, laying the end posts and top cap in place beside the rail. Insert the the K-D bolts in the rail, then the Allen bolts in their holes for the side posts. Make sure the end posts stay flush with the top of the rail. Insert the bolts up through the rail and cap.

    • 7). Line up the caps for the short foot and head rails of the crib. The rounded edge of the caps should go toward the front. Bolt the two Allen head bolts up through the caps for each rail. The straight back edges of the cap should be flush with the rail.

    • 8). Stand all four assembled rails upright. You may need an assistant to hold the pieces in place. Thread 8 Allen head bolts through their respective holes, bolting the two long rails to the end pieces. Tighten securely with an Allen head wrench.

    • 9). Pull out the little arms on the crib spring. With an assistant, lower the spring into the crib to the desired height. Several holes in the short ends of the crib give you options for height. Put the Allen head bolts through the arms into the holes in the end railings. On the outside of the rails, put the Bronze Insert Nuts into their holes and thread in the shorter Allen head bolts. Install the same nuts and bolts in the unused holes.

Check all bolts and fastenings for tightness, then add your choice of crib mattress, being sure it meets the safety guidelines for size and thickness. It should fit snugly inside the crib, and not be over 6 inches thick.
