Rid Acne For Good? Holistic Natural Remedies

Many people these days are looking for a holistic, natural remedies to rid acne.
These can prove very effective, although for a severe bout of skin problems it is sensible to consult a dermatologist or general practitioner.
But for those of us who want natural answers there is much we can do, most of which should be practiced alongside any medication anyway.
So help is at hand.
I am sure most people know to drink plenty of water, although we probably do not practice what we preach all the time! About eight glasses, sipped throughout the day, will help the body in many ways.
If we are thirsty it is an indication that the body is dehydrated already, so drink plenty of fresh, still water.
Drinking plenty of water will help the body get rid of toxins more easily.
There are herbs that can be added, such as fenugreek seeds, or green tea added to hot water.
Fresh fruit juices are also beneficial.
There are many books on sale with recipes for delicious juices, including vegetables, such as cucumber, carrots etc.
Try a honey mask to the face - honey has naturally occurring anti-bacterial qualities, good to eat too, so add some to the juices.
Dilute distilled white vinegar and dab the solution on the spots for about five minutes.
Avoid using any cosmetics, shampoos, washes, shower gels etc which use chemicals.
There are a few cosmetic manufacturers that use no chemicals whatsoever, but sadly very few.
Read the labels carefully, as some cosmetics look innocuous, with pictures of nature and birds etc to make us think they are natural, but still include harsh chemicals.
Never use solid soap on areas prone to acne, but always use liquid soap (chemical free of course), or even mild shampoo (again chemical free).
It probably goes without saying that plenty of fruit and vegetables should be eaten, with a large proportion being uncooked.
Organic is best if at all possible.
Exercise is very important as it will help keep the circulation going, and the more efficient the circulation the better the body can cope with toxins and will be able to get rid of the waste.
I hope this goes a little way to help with anyone who is experiencing skin problems.
