The Best Solution For Hair Loss - Can it Really Help You?

103 10
What is the best solution for hair loss? This is a very broad question that has no definitive answer...
not even close.
It's really all dependent upon the severity of your condition, the type of hair loss you're suffering from, and your own unique chemical make-up.
The best solution for hair loss may be hair plugs for one person, minoxidil or finasteride for another, and simple vitamin therapy for another.
What I will address in this article is what many believe to be the best solution for hair loss that falls into the early-to-mid level stages of androgenetic alopecia, or pattern baldness.
This is the most common form of thinning hair, and is generally the most treatable.
If your hair loss is in an advanced stage and you are totally bald (zero hair cover whatsoever) in certain areas of the scalp, the information I'm about to share will NOT help you.
The same is true for those of you whose hair loss is the result of injury, burn, surgery, or stress-related issues.
For these types of hair loss, you are advised to consult your physician or dermatologist.
So now that we know that the condition we are addressing here is female and male pattern baldness, and that you must still have some hair cover, i.
e.
a common "bald spot," receding hair line, or overall thinning, we can now much more effectively answer the question: What Is The Best Solution For Hair Loss? The answer to this really points to three successful treatments combined together to make one powerful "Super Treatment.
" It consists of three solutions - vitamin & mineral therapy, minoxidil, and finasteride (for men only).
Let's briefly address each of these.
1.
Vitamins and minerals are absolutely critical for a healthy body, period.
Your hair is no exception.
It uses very specific nutrients as food, and if these nutrients are deficient, your hair is in serious trouble.
These nutrients are magnesium, biotin, vitamin b6, zinc, and iron.
Ensuring you are getting sufficient amounts of these nutrients can make a tremendous difference in the vitality of your hair.
2.
Quite possibly the best solution for hair loss among both men and women is the FDA Approved topical minoxidil.
This treatment works by dilating the capillaries in your scalp, restoring nutrient-rich blood flow to your starving hair follicles.
Simply apply a dropper of minoxidil solution (5% for guys, 2% for ladies) on the affected area of your scalp every morning and simply monitor your results.
Many people report seeing fine hair begin to surface after only a week or two, though full hair restoration can take six months or longer.
3.
Finasteride is what's known as an anti-androgen, which basically mean it stops the formation of the hormone DHT in your bloodstream.
If you didn't know, DHT is the primary cause of pattern baldness.
So as you can imagine, the concept is simple...
stop DHT, and you stop your hair loss! The problem with finasteride is twofold.
(I know, it sounded too good to be true, didn't it?)
  • Finasteride is simply not recommended for women, due to hormonal issues and potential complications.
  • Many men opt not to use finasteride, as a risk of sexual side effects is present.
A natural alternative, which is believed to work in a fashion similar to finasteride is saw palmetto.
This is a much safer option which is fine for female use, but is still not recommended for women who are pregnant, taking oral contraceptives, or on any kind of hormone therapy.
