How to Remove Ambient Noise From Adobe Soundbooth
- 1). Record a few seconds of blank audio before recording the desired audio. These few seconds before each recording will only record the "hiss" of the constant background noise. This allows the noise to be isolated.
- 2). Select a segment of the blank audio.
- 3). Select "Capture Noise Print" in the "Clean Up Audio" bar, under the Task panel. Highlight the entire recording, or only the segments that need noise removed.
- 4). Select "Noise" next to the Capture Noise Print button. This will open the Noise window. Use the two sliders on this window to adjust the noise removal. You can preview the adjustments by selecting preview. Make sure the "Use Captured Noise Print" box is checked.
- 5). Select "OK" when finished.
