- Coptic attractions: Coptic sites which run on the embankments of the river Nile have a rich history and religion associated with them. They are still toured by pilgrims and spiritual seekers but many first-time tourists do not even consider paying them a visit. However, if you are interested in religious attractions which are also hundreds of years old, then these Coptic sites would surely live up to your expectations. Cairo's Hanging Church is the best example of such sites. The Burnt Monastery is another Coptic attraction which should get greater footage.
- Temple of Ramesseum: Temple of Ramesseum could have easily been the best attraction of Luxor, had it not been for the existence of the Luxor Temple and the Temple of Karnack! - Dahab: Dahab is not the greatest place to spend your holiday in. But it was once a small hamlet and its urbanization has been massive. It still houses some quaint landmarks like the Old Fort. Besides, it has some lovely sightseeing sites in the vicinity and offers cheap accommodation and delectable dining options. Its special attractions include Mahraba's old Nabatean Port. It is a ruin and one of its noted tourist spots.
- Egyptian souqs: Your Egyptian vacation must also comprise of visits to the souqs which are present in cities like Cairo. These bazaars have a frothy personality and they give the tourists a steal glance into the culture, language and lifestyle of the locals.
