How to Repair Scratches on Top of a Snowboard
- 1). Hose your board down to remove any dried mud that may be lodged in the cracks.
- 2). Dry off the board with a towel.
- 3). Ignite your lighter and hold the P-Tex stick in the flame until it starts to drip. Be careful not to burn yourself, as the P-Tex will be very hot.
- 4). Drip the P-Tex into each scratch.
- 5). Allow the P-Tex to dry for 30 minutes.
- 6). Shave off the excess P-Tex with a metal scraper until it is flush with your board. Be very careful to do this lightly so you don't scratch your board. Use as little pressure as possible.
