The treatment is through birth control pills and surgery.

• If there are no symptoms related to a typical ovarian cysts during the childbearing age of a woman, then the doctor adopts a wait and watch policy.
The doctor may recommend an ultrasound test to test the nature and size of the cyst in case the size is less than two centimeters.
• The doctor may recommend taking contraceptive pills to arrest the development of more cysts and/or the cysts developing into ovarian cancer.
• If the cyst size is large and it is accompanied by typical symptoms, then surgery is advised.
Besides the treatments, pain relievers such as ibuprofen are used to reduce pelvic pain.
Chamomile tea is also consumed for relief of pelvic pain.
Diet rich in vitamins A and B should be consumed.
In addition, avoid caffeine, alcohol and sugar.
