TiVo Does Not Transfer After an Upgrade to Windows 7?
- 1). Click "Windows" in the bottom-left corner of the desktop and click the arrow icon next to the Windows icon. Click "Restart" to power off and restart the computer.
- 2). Go to the TiVo Central menu using your TiVo remote control and select "Messages and Settings." Select "Help" and "Restart or Reset System."
- 3). Select "Restart the TiVo DVR" to restart the device.
- 1). Click the Windows icon on the desktop and click "Control Panel." Click "Uninstall a program" below the Programs section and click "TiVo Desktop."
- 2). Click "Uninstall" and click "Remove All" in the uninstaller utility to erase the program.
- 3). Run the TiVo Desktop Cleaner Utility on your computer to erase remaining system files. Download the latest version of TiVo Desktop (see Resources) and click "Run" to install the program.
- 4). Click the Windows icon on the desktop, click "TiVo Desktop" and click "TiVo Desktop" to run the program.
