These creatures were designed entirely to get a meal without waking up their host, and it is what makes them very good survivors.
Bedbugs are not known as a major carrier of disease.
They do not transmit encephalitis, or malaria or other diseases the way mosquitoes do.
Certain people have no bedbugs symptoms at all to bites, while others can experience allergic reactions that can include blisters, hives and severe itchy skin.
