How to Make Good Quality Ringtones
- 1). Download install Adobe Audition's free trial version from its website (see Resources). After installation, launch the program.
- 2). Click "File" and "Open." Choose an MP3 file for making the ring tone. The song will load and will be displayed on the time line.
- 3). Choose the "Time Selection Tool" from the toolbar.
- 4). Drag the time selection tool's cursor along the time line, and choose a particular fragment of the song.
- 5). Go to "Clip" from the menu, and select "Trim."
- 6). Go to "File" and "Save as." Choose a destination folder and give the file a name.
- 1). Download and install Cool Edit Pro on your computer (see Resources). After installation, launch the program. Go to "File" and "Open" and load an MP3 file to make ring tone.
- 2). Specify the fragment of the song that is to be converted into a ring tone. For making this selection, drag the markers on the time line backward and forward. Right-click on this fragment, and select "Cut."
- 3). Go to "File" and "New."
- 4). Right-click on the blank time line, and click "Paste."
- 5). Go to "File" and "Save as" and name the file. You may save it in any folder of the computer.
- 1). Download and install WavePad (see Resources). Open the application after it has been installed on the computer. Go to "File" and "Open," and pick an audio file to trim.
- 2). Choose "Trim" from the menu. Specify a portion of the song on the time line to make the ring tone.
- 3). Go to "File" and "Save as." Name the audio clip and save it in any folder.
