How to Make Payments on Credit Card Webpages
- 1). Go to your credit card company's website and register for online account access. You will be asked for your credit card number and perhaps some personal identification information, like the last four digits of your Social Security number. Your card's security panel code and expiration date may also be needed to register
- 2). Enter a login ID and password that you can remember. You may also be asked to enter a security question and answer in case you ever forget your login ID and password. An email address will also be required to register for online access and to provide you with any alerts on your account.
- 3). Start paying your bills online after you have registered your account for online access. You will be able to see your account information online through the company's website. You will have access to your available balance, your minimum payment due, and due dates. Enter the date you wish to make your payment and the amount you will pay. You will then be prompted to insert your bank account information for payments. Once you have inserted your bank account information the first time, the site generally saves it for future use so you do not have to insert it again the next time you log in.
- 4). Print and save the confirmation of payment page. Your payment will be credited on the date you set for the payment to be deducted from your bank account.
