    • 1). Turn on the Bluetooth connection on the devices you plan to use. You can do this in the "Connections" sub-section of your device's menu or in the "Devices and Printers" option from the "Control Panel" if you're using a computer. This process will differ depending upon the equipment you're using. Consult your device's user guide if you experience any problems.

    • 2). Make sure that both devices are set as visible to all other Bluetooth-enabled units.

    • 3). Use one device to search for the other and send a connection request. You will be prompted to a enter a code on the device you're using to send the request, which will also need to be entered on the other device to establish your secure connection. Once entered, the devices will be linked. You can confirm the link with either unit's "Paired Devices" list.

    • 4). Navigate to the music file you want to send and highlight it or click on it. You'll be presented with a list of options including "Send by Bluetooth," which you'll need to select. Again, this process will differ slightly from device to device so consult your user's manual.

    • 5). Choose the device you want to transfer the file to and send.

    • 6). Accept the file transfer on the recipient device.

    • 7). Play your music file.
