Easter Decorating Ideas
- Frame pictures of chicks, lambs or bunnies and put them around your home for Easter. You can order posters or prints online, then frame them. Interchange them with the current artwork you have up so you can easily change them back after the holiday. Before you know it, every room in your home will evoke the Easter spirit.
- Fill a few small baskets with Easter grass, then stick in some delicious Easter-themed lollipops. You can find many types of lollipops that have images of bunnies, chicks and Easter eggs on them. The lollipops can serve as decorations and you can eat the candy throughout the holiday. Put a basket in almost each room to incorporate a cheerful holiday touch.
- Put out a flat tray and cover the entire bottom with Easter grass. Place a chocolate bunny on top, and then include a carrot shaped bag of candy sitting on the grass in front of it. If possible, leave the wrapper on the chocolate bunny instead of taking it off. The bunny scene makes for an inexpensive Easter decoration that you can eat after the holiday is over.
- This can be a nice project for you to do by yourself or with your children. Cut out a bunch of paper Easter eggs, color them or paint them the way you wish, then tape them together in a line and hang them up around your doorways. If you tape them together carefully, you can continue to use them again every year.
- Instead of using regular bathroom and kitchen towels, consider changing them for ones that have an Easter theme. For example, choose ones that have bunnies or Easter eggs on them. If you cannot find ones that you like, plain towels in pastel colors will suffice. It can add a simple touch of the holiday without doing too much.
