It can be tough to find a great Father's Day gift when Dad is the man who already has everything.
Choosing a gift for Dad is already hard enough, but can be even tougher when he doesn't give you any hints.
Fathers are reluctant to hint at a gift that they want.
They don't want you to spend a lot of money on them, so they usually tell you not to get them anything for Father's Day if you ask.
But with all he does for the whole family throughout the year, he deserves a great gift.
Here are some ideas to help get you started.
Traditional gifts like a wallet, a tie, or a new shirt are okay, but what if you want to get him something original, different, and exciting? These ideas go beyond the new tie, and can be tailored to fit any budget.
A Photo Album of the Best of Times We all have fond memories of our fathers, and they have lots of fond memories of us, as well.
Why not give him something to help remember those special moments? First, you will need to get together some pictures of things you have done together, like that special vacation or the time he taught you to ride a bike.
To add an even more personal touch, you can write a message on the back of the pictures.
Assemble your pictures in a photo album and your father can have a gift that he will treasure for a lifetime.
Technology Gifts Keep Dad in the Loop Some fathers are more into technology than others, but don't let that stop you from helping Dad keep up with the changing times.
For the fathers who aren't tech savvy, just make sure your gift has a simple learning curve.
How about a key-chain digital camera, a PDA, some blue-tooth accessories, or even an MP3 player? If he already has many gadgets, you could get him a carrying case for his cell phone or PDA.
If he claims to not know how to use such gizmos, get him on book on "Texting for Idiots.
" Not only will Dad get a laugh of that, he might learn to text at a faster rate than you!
