Cookie Bouquet

• You can buy cookie bouquets from a bakery or make them yourself. If you choose the latter option, begin by making cookies and decorating them any way you wish. Before baking them, stick a chopstick in the bottom of each cookie so that it goes almost all the way through. Then bake them, let them cool and wrap each cookie in colorful cellophane. You can choose the same color of cellophane for each cookie, or various colors. Finally, tie the cellophane at the base of the cookie with a piece of ribbon, stick Styrofoam in a vase and stick the other end of the chopstick in the Styrofoam. The way you arrange the cookies in the vase is entirely up to you. If the vase is see-through, you can wrap it in cellophane or fill it with craft pebbles, beads or candy.
  
  

Pizza Cookie

• A pizza cookie is an unusual gift for any cookie lover. To make, begin with your favorite sugar cookie dough, then flatten the dough evenly on a lightly greased pizza pan. Next, top the cookie pizza with anything you wish, such as chocolate chips, candies, sprinkles, nuts, cherries or shredded coconut. Finally, top with marshmallows and bake until lightly browned. You can then present the pizza cookie to her on a large round platter or place it in a pizza box.
  
  

Cookie-Making Kit

• If your mom does not already own the necessary supplies for making cookies, then you could put together a kit for her. Items needed include a rolling pin, mixing bowl, hand mixer, cookie cutters, bake ware, spatula and edible decorations. If she already has all of these supplies, you could buy her some cookie cutters in shapes she does not already have and place them in a jar or gift bag. When shopping for cookie cutters, you can purchase a bunch that coincide with a specific theme, such as a Christmas theme, beach theme or animal theme. Finally, for an added touch, purchase a cookie cookbook to include with the gift.
  
  

Cookie Jar

• Cookie jars come in all shapes and sizes. For a humorous gift, you can buy your mom a cookie jar shaped like a cow or a pig that makes a "moo" or "oink" sound when the jar is opened. Alternatively, you can purchase a personalized cookie jar with a family photo or family name printed on the front. Of course, you can buy plenty of traditional cookie jars from a kitchen-supply store, department store or online. Whichever you choose, fill the cookie jar with mom's favorite cookies before wrapping it.
